In this edition of At C Level, host David Reich-Hale visits with Arthur Gianelli, chief executive of Nassau Health Care Corp. since March of 2006. Gianelli, who used to be Nassau County's deputy chief for budget and finance, is pushing major reforms at the corporation.

The health-care leader speaks about what's involved in running a mainly public-funded hospital as well as the details of the $240 million renovation of Nassau University Medical Center, which includes a new emergency center and upgrades to its nursing home.

Gianelli also explains the challenges faced by the health-care industry in general.
